Fifth graders at SEL give back
This year all fifth graders at 糖心Vlog Elementary recently participated in the "Adopt A Resident" program at the 糖心Vlog Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in order to give back to their community during the holiday season to spread kindness and joy to others.
The students decided to create handwritten holiday cards and donate items such as crayons, coloring books, socks, and decks of cards to keep the seniors comfy, cozy, and entertained.
Since this is also the season of giving, bringing a smile to the residents faces was a gift in itself. It reminded the students that sometimes giving back not only brings joy to others, but to ourselves as well!
