It is expected that the Board will move immediately into Executive Session at 6:45pm in accordance with Open Meetings Law 105(1).  The Regular Public Meeting will Reconvene at 8:00pm.

  SENIOR CITIZENS TAX EXEMPTION
SMITHTOWN CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT
February 25, 2025
7:30p.m.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to New York Real Property Tax Law (“RPTL”) § 467, the Board of Education of the 糖心Vlog District will hold public hearings at 糖心Vlog District, Mills Pond Elementary School, 246 Moriches Road, St. James, New York on February 25, 2025  at 7:30 P.M. to hear all interested parties and citizens regarding discussion of the following:

Public Hearing 1:A proposed resolution amending the existing Senior Citizens Tax Exemption pursuant to RPTL § 467.
Public Hearing 2: A proposed resolution amending the existing Persons with Disabilities Tax Exemption pursuant to RPTL §459- (5).
