Grade 12: College Application Process

Location: HSW Auditorium
Time: 7pm This workshop will outline the college application process. Helpful hints will be shared with regard to applying to college and utilizing Schoolinks. In addition to this evening guidance program, counselors will visit all seniors in their classes.
Grades 10 & 11: College Testing
Date: 9/24/2026
Grade: 10 & 11
Location: HSW Auditorium
Time: 7pm
This student/parent workshop for 10th and 11th graders on College Admissions Testing reviews the PSAT, SAT, ACT and Advanced Placement (AP) exams & provides some helpful testing strategies. There will also be a College representative there to demystify how these exams are used for college admissions.
Grade 9: Information Night/Transition to High School

High school counselors will explain the importance of developing a four-year plan that embraces self-exploration, challenging courses, extracurricular activities and academic success.
High School Financial Aid Night

Time: 7:30pm
This workshop provides an overview of the Financial Aid Process and provides tips on completing the FAFSA & CSS Profile. The workshop will also cover important due dates and provide a comprehensive Q & A.
Grades 10 & 11: Evening College Fair

Time: 7pm- 9pm
The Guidance Department will host 糖心Vlog District’s Annual Evening College Fair on 4/14/2027. Students and parents are given the opportunity to meet with over 100 college representatives from a variety of colleges. This program gives students and parents the opportunity to visit information booths regarding admission criteria, popular majors, finance, scholarships, social life, housing, athletics and much more.
