High School East and High School West students were visited Monday by SCPD crime unit officer Volpe who detailed what happens when officers arrive at a crime scene.
Some topics included fingerprinting, ballistics, drones, measurement techniques, and more. The police officers also discussed their career pathway and how to get to work for the crime scene sector.
Prior to becoming an officer, Volpe was a wedding photographer and uses her camera skills in her current role as an officer.
