Sprachfest success: SCSD students shine
糖心Vlog students once again shined this past weekend in the annual Sprachfest— a celebration of German language, culture, and competition hosted this year by Hauppauge Middle School..
German students from across Long Island gathered for this annual event, and
SCSD students delivered an outstanding performance, earning ribbons in events including Music Performance, German Scrabble, Quiz Show, Logo Design, Lip Sync Battle, Poetry Recitation, and more! An impressive 17 糖心Vlog High School West students alone brought home awards.
A special thank you to Mr. Schieck for leading the exciting Fussball Klinik (soccer competition), and to Mrs. Specht and Mrs. Culloton for their leadership as Vice President and President of the American Association of Teachers of German, the organization behind this incredible annual event for Long Island German students.
